BELFAST — Belfast Maskers are seeking actors and actresses of all ages for their 2024 Festival of One Acts. Auditions will take place on two dates in February at the Basil Burwell Community Theater. Prospective performers can audition on Wednesday, February 7, at 6 p.m., or Saturday, February 10, at 10 a.m.

This year’s festival features four short comedic plays: “In the Tank” by Rosemary Frisine Toohey, directed by Gwyneth Sauvage; “At Home” by Richard Dresser, directed by Zafra Whitcomb; “Writer’s Block” written and directed by Cassidy Small; and “Triassic Park” written and directed by Tucker Atwood.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the scripts and the casts will be chosen by the directors. If you have any questions, feel free to email info@belfastmaskers.com.

All four shows will be performed each night of the festival, which runs April 19-28, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at the theater. The Basil Burwell Community Theater, home of the Belfast Maskers, is at 17 Court Street in Belfast (at the corner of Spring Street).
