Event has passed

WALDOBORO — The third annual special musical story hour will be held Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m., at the Waldoboro Public Library.

This year's performance, designed for children of all ages, is a lively musical rendition of Robert McCloskey’s beloved Make Way for Ducklings. In collaboration with local actor Ben Meader, the Halcyon String Quartet combines music, story, and illustration for an hour of joy, humor, storytelling, and beautiful music. Musical selections include classical favorites, folk tunes, and nostalgic songs from childhood.

It will be an interactive story hour with a musical instrument “petting zoo” to follow in which children may try the different instruments.

The program is free, but space is limited. Please call the library at 832-4484 or email to info@waldoboro.lib.me.us to sign up.

The Waldoboro Public Library is located at 958 Main Street in Waldoboro.
