Maine Audubon’s Nick Lund presents “Maine’s Spring Birds” in Belfast

    BELFAST — Thursday, May 16, at 6:30 p.m., Nick Lund, from Maine Audubon, will give a presentation on “Maine’s Spring Birds”. The program will be offered in person in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library, and via Zoom. 

    Millions of birds of hundreds of different species pour into Maine each spring, and it can be an overwhelming experience for birders, according to Belfast Free Library, in a news release. In this presentation Nick Lund will explain all about why and how spring bird migration happens and what species to expect.

    Nick Lund is Maine Audubon’s Advocacy and Outreach Manager, and also the author of the American Birding Association’s Field Guide to the Birds of Maine.
