ROCKLAND — The Rockland City Council will host a Public Forum to discuss workforce housing issues, concerns and potential solutions.

The Public Forum will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 6 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, Rockland. This will be an in-person meeting only.

“Please join us for the Rockland Workforce Housing Forum, an opportunity to learn about and have your voice heard on one of the most important issues facing the City today,” said a news release.

This workshop will be convened by the Rockland City Council and will provide a public forum to discuss the ways in which the City can tackle housing challenges on a local level including issues and barriers to housing production, and potential solutions such as zoning and regulatory changes, accessory dwelling units, and incentive programs.

“We hope you can attend and share your ideas and feedback on potential strategies to improve opportunity and access to safe, reliable, and affordable housing in Rockland,” said the release.
