Robert Becker to share "My Journey to Antarctica: How it (Finally) Happened"

    ROCKLAND — The Rockland Public Library presents Robert Becker, Thursday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all.

    Robert Becker will share the story of his recent two-week trip to Antarctica with National Geographic. Becker will begin by briefly discussing the logistics of the trip, including getting there, cost, shipboard life, food, weather, and gear. From there, he'll touch on Shackleton's voyage, geography, and wildlife. Included in the presentation are plenty of photos and anecdotes from his exciting adventure.

    This event will take place in the Community Room and will be livestreamed via Zoom; the Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union St.
