SEARSPORT — The work of artist Howard Little will be featured in an opening exhibition, Friday, March 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., at WORKSHOP + GALLERY, in Searsport.

Howard Little, born 1883, was a renowned early California landscape painter. His prolific career spanned nearly forty years. Having begun painting as a hobby, he quickly gained notoriety for his ability to capture light in his landscapes and soon took up painting as a full time profession.

The works on display will encompass his career from the early 1930’s until his death in 1965.

Gallery and store hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
