Merryspring online talk to discuss Growing Annual Flowers for Cutting

John Fromer will lead an online presentation called, Growing Annual Flowers for Cutting, hosted by Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, March 26, at 12 p.m. 

Join Fromer, Maine Master Gardener Volunteer and Merryspring Program Director for a talk on growing annual flowers for cutting. Fromer has professionally grown cut flowers for florists, weddings, restaurants and caterers for over 20 years at his farm. He will show how to organize a cut flower garden, which flowers work best in arrangements, the basics of growing from seed, how to make plants produce many flowers, tips on cutting flowers, and the "Filler, Thriller and Spiller" design element in arranging.

This talk is part of Merryspring’s Online Winter Talk series, co-sponsored by Camden Riverhouse Hotel.  Online Talks are held as Zoom webinars.

Online Talks are open to everybody, free of charge.
