ROCKLAND — On Tuesday, March 5, the City of Rockland will host a Bike Planning Process and Early Findings community workshop. The workshop will take place from 5:30 - 7 p.m., in the Rockland Public Library’s Community Room.

The bike planning project team invites everyone to attend to learn about the Rockland Community Bike Survey results, the planning process, and conceptual recommendations.

This community workshop is part of a project to develop a network of bike routes that will connect community members to where they want to go. Low-cost roadway improvements such as signage, striping, and shared lane markings will be installed as part of this project.

The workshop presentation will be posted to rocklandmaine.gov/bike. Those who cannot attend in person may review the presentation and send their thoughts to sustainability@rocklandmaine.gov.
