CAMDEN — Camden resident Kit Harrison will speak Tuesday, March 26, at noon, at the Camden Rotary Club, about immigration in Maine and how Midcoast-based volunteers help new Mainers navigate life here.

Harrison is editor-in-chief of Amjambo Africa, a multimedia, multilingual statewide news source focused on immigration. She belongs to Connecting Across Cultures, a network of volunteers who celebrate diversity and help immigrants successfully navigate life in the Midcoast. The volunteers help with household supplies, winter clothing, transportation, translation, friendship, and more.

Visitors are welcome to attend club meetings in person or on Zoom at noon every Tuesday at First Congregational Church in Camden. For more details, visit www.camdenrotary.org
