Applications are being accepted for the 2017 Maine Wild Blueberry Queen Competition. The coronation will take place at the Union Fair/Maine Wild Blueberry Festival on Monday, August 21.  The girl chosen to be Queen will receive a $1,750 cash award and represent the Maine wild blueberry industry at events in Maine and New England throughout her one-year reign. 

An applicant must be 17 to 22 years of age, single, a high school graduate or the equivalent, a Maine resident, and available for public appearances during the upcoming year.
