BELFAST — The Belfast Free Library will host a four part series of programs with ReVision Energy on all things solar. The first program, Solar 101, will take place on Thursday, March 7, at 6:30 p.m., in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library, 106 High Street. The talk is free and open to the public.

If you want to learn more about clean solar energy but don’t know where to start, join ReVision Energy’s Solar Design Specialist for an overview of all things solar. ReVision will discuss how grid-tied solar works, the all-electric household model (including heat pumps, EV charging, and Battery Storage), and explain how the company designs and prices systems.

“The cost of solar panels has dropped 75% in the past 10 years, and there’s still a 30% Federal Tax Credit for solar, so now is the time to explore solar energy for your home,” said Belfast Free Library, in a news release.

The next programs in the series are: Retrofitting and New Construction (Thursday March 28); Solar + Storage (April 11); and Community Solar 101 (April 25).

For more information call the library at 207-338 3884 ext.10.
