MaineCF welcomes three community partners

The Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF) announces the hiring of three community partners to its community impact team. Community partners support nonprofit organizations and communities and facilitate grantmaking and community engagement in all 16 Maine counties.

Lane Sturtevant will serve Knox and Waldo counties. They previously worked as an organizer with Democracy Maine and in youth engagement for OUT Maine and New Hope for Women. They have been a school board member and facilitated sexuality education classes for middle schoolers. Sturtevant lives in Warren.

Caitlyn Barker will serve Penobscot County and statewide organizations. She was previously the community engagement coordinator for Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association and a fourth-grade teacher in RSU #19. She lives in Dixmont.

Tracey Hair will serve Hancock and Washington counties. Hair was previously the executive director of H.O.M.E. in Orland, where she worked for nearly 20 years. She serves on the Maine Health Access Foundation board and is a speaker with Maine Humanities Council Speaks. She was previously on the Statewide Homeless Council and chair of the Region III Homeless Council. Hair lives in Bucksport, where she is a member of the Town Council.
