ROCKPORT — Midcoast women fly fishers are invited to Flatbread Co. (upstairs mezzanine) Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 5:30 - 7 p.m., for a fun evening of learning and sharing about fly fishing.

“Do you have a lot of fly fishing experience?” said Carmen Bombeke, in a news release. “Come share your expertise with women who may be new to the sport. Have you casted a rod a few times but feel uncertain where to go from here? Come with questions! Wondering what you need for gear to get started? Come see what works for female guides and others.”

The evening will be hosted by Carmen Bombeke, Registered Maine Guide for fishing and hunting. This will be an informal gathering geared toward building connection and sharing of knowledge among women in the local fly fishing community.

All experience levels welcome.
