The cross is vacant and the tomb is empty, but praise God the throne is occupied, for He has risen! From the place of His victory, we are risen by His resurrection power to abide in His love, and to live life from the place of His presence (Ephesians 2:5-6).  Thank you, “Abba Father”, as we worship today with thanksgiving and celebration, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

     Though the redemption of His blood and His resurrection power, we are raised up to walk with Him in newness of life- His life. Within every born-again believer is resurrection life that testifies of the power of His resurrection.

     Indeed, the celebration of His resurrection continues, not just once a year, but each and every day.  Each morning, we are able to “rise up” in spirit to come before the throne of Abba Father. Here in His presence through fellowship and communion, we are filled daily with His love, and life. To be alive in the Spirit comes from the life of His presence.

  For me, the celebration of Christ and His resurrection is not just a one-time event. It is the ongoing testimony that Christ has risen revealed by the manifestation of the light, love and power of Christ that shines in our daily lives.
