Remember the Blue Dots that used to inhabit Rockport? Named after the old Sylvania Blue Dot flashbulbs, they were the students of the Maine Photo Workshop. We used to see them everywhere on the streets dressed in black with cameras, lights, and other equipment working on their photography and film projects.

But now we no longer see them. Are they gone? Perhaps another victim of global warming?

No! They're still around, bigger and better than ever as the Maine Media Workshops + College at their campus on Camden Street in Rockport.

On Wednesday morning, November 25, 2015, The Chris Wolf Show will host Meg Weston, President of MMW and Elizabeth Greenberg, Vice President in charge of all their programs. We'll find out all about what they are up to now, where they're going, and see lots of interesting pictures and videos about their work.

Margaret A. (Meg) Weston is president of Maine Media Workshops + College in Rockport, Maine. Meg has over 25 years of leadership experience in imaging and communications businesses, including president and COO of the U.S. photofinishing operations of Konica Corporation where she grew the business from $30M to $150M over a seven-year period.
Meg later became president of the Portland Press Herald and Maine Sunday Telegram, and subsequently, president and CEO of PrintLife, an Israeli digital imaging start-up that built operations in the U.S. and Japan. For eight years, she operated f22 Consulting, Inc., a successful consulting practice focused on helping mature companies make the transition to new global opportunities in consumer digital imaging. Her f22 client list included many digital imaging start-up companies as well as Kodak, Hewlett Packard, and Fuji.

Meg served as Chair of a legislative commission on higher education governance and for ten years on the Board of Trustees of the University of Maine System, including two years as Chair of the Board of Trustees. After this service, Meg worked at the University of Southern Maine as Vice President for University Advancement and as President and CEO of the University of Southern Maine Foundation. Meg currently serves on the board of the Maine Center for Creativity.

Meg became president of Maine Media Workshops + College in 2012, bringing to the job an extensive background and experience in management, marketing, fundraising, and education.
Meg earned an MFA degree in Creative Writing from Lesley University in 2008, and has had a lifelong interest in writing about and photographing volcanoes around the world.
Elizabeth Greenberg, Vice President of Academic Affairs, earned a B.F.A. in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design and completed her M.F.A in Visual Arts at Vermont College. Elizabeth began her photographic career in New York City working as Arnold Newman's studio manager and first assistant.

After leaving Arnold Newman's studio, Elizabeth went on to assist many other well – known photographers, spending another four years working as a still life and food photographer. She then continued to work as a freelance portrait and editorial photographer in New York City and Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth has been teaching at the Maine Media Workshops since 1994. She was the Director of the Photography Programs from 2000-2007. Elizabeth has also taught at the New School for Social research, Lafayette College (Easton, PA) and the Baum School of Art (Allentown, PA).
