Waldoboro Police beat: Drug trafficking, arrest warrants, theft

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 106 calls for service from Jan. 26-Feb. 1. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. 

    Jan. 26 

    Deven Dever, 23, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Larry Hesseltine for speeding. 

    Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen of Facebook harassment. 

    Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report from a citizen that she is being harassed. 

    Jan. 27 

    Pamela Goguen, 60, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for operating after suspension.                      

    Hesseltine is investigating a report of the theft of a backpack. 

    Todd Bradstreet, 36, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Hesseltine for unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs. 

    Hesseltine is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $12.64 gasoline drive off. 

    Jan. 29 

    Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a theft report from a citizen. 

    Hesseltine is investigating a phone harassment complaint from a citizen. 

    Jan. 31 

    Fuller is investigating a harassing text complaint from a citizen. 

    Feb. 1                      

    Darrell Wilson, 31, of Pittston, was arrested by Officer Andrew Santheson on a warrant. 

    Faith Whitsit, 27, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Santheson on a warrant.
