Waldo County Criminal Docket closed cases

    BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Criminal Docket from April 17-28. The unified Criminal Docket is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior courts by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

    Jason E. Batista, 32, of South China, failure to register a vehicle in Belfast March 7, $200 fine. 

    Frederick Buker, 25, of Albion, use of drug paraphernalia in Belfast March 9, $300 fine. 

    Michael Cogswell, 57, of Belfast, possession of marijuana up to 1.25 oz in Belfast March 5, $350 fine. 

    Michael A. Curtis, 26, of Searsmont,  use of drug paraphernalia in Belfast March 9, $300 fine. 

    Kevin F. Dudley, 35, of Unity, operating an unregistered snowmobile in Unity March 7, $200 fine.

    Tiffany Hamilton, 28, of Bucksport, failure to register a vehicle on Searsport March 21, $150 fine.

    Karyn K. Kuchenbaur,  48, of Belfast, failure to register a vehicle in Belfast March 12, dismissed. 

    Tanner C. Luther, 18, of Searsmont, use of drug paraphernalia in Frankfort March 1, $300 fine. 

    Minor, of Troy, operating an unregistered snowmobile in Swanville Feb. 28, $200 fine.

    Mazey L. McKeen, 19, of Searsport, failure to register a vehicle  in Searsport March 22, $100 fine. 

    Richard A. McLaughlin, 40, of  Stockton Springs, attaching false plates in Searsport March 22, $150 fine. 

    Minor, of Hampden, operating a vehicle without a license in Liberty Feb. 27, $200 fine. 

    Scott Mosher, 46, of Waldo, operating an unregistered snowmobile in Liberty Feb. 27, $200 fine. 

    Paul A. Nizio, 71, of Lincolnville, failure to register a vehicle in Belfast March 13, $150 fine. 

    Brent W. Pedrick, 28, of Dedham, operating a vehicle on a snowmobile trail in Burnham Feb. 28, $100 fine. 

    Dakota Raven, 19, of Freedom, operating an unregistered ATV in Freedom Feb. 22, $200 fine. 

    Rick Sibley, 46, of Winterport, hunting without a valid license in Winterport Dec. 3, $100 fine. 

    Tamarack Thomsen, 23, of Belfast, criminal mischief in Belfast Feb. 16, 48 hours in jail.

    Robert F. Veinote, 84, of Newburgh, operating a vehicle without a license in Unity Feb. 28, $150 fine.

    Annie L. Von Kres, 32, of Belfast, use of drug paraphernalia in Belfast March 9, $300 fine. 

    Dakota Walker, 18, of Belmont, possession of marijuana up to 1.25 oz in Frankfort March 1, $450 fine.
