THOMASTON — The Thomaston Recreation Department will host a recreation basketball referee clinic on Sunday, Nov. 23 at the Thomaston Grammar School from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The clinic is free to adults and high school students from any community.

At the clinic, Thomaston Recreation Department committee member and Maine Principal’s Association (MPA) basketball official Chris Barstow, with help from other local officials, will lead the 90 minute clinic.

The clinic will cover general basketball rules, court positioning, and hand signals through discussion and demonstration.
