ROCKPORT —  David Stoneman has been named Employee of the Year at Pen Bay Healthcare.

The healthcare system recognizes colleagues each month through an Employee of the Month program. This award determined by nominations from peers recognizes employees who display:

 Extraordinary service

 Exceptional attitude, can do spirit, willingness to listen and motivate

Stoneman has been an employee in the General Maintenance department at Pen Bay Healthcare since 2005. He was recognized in April 2014 as Employee of the Month, and was recognized as Employee of the Year for his ongoing exemplary service earlier this month.

His peers stated "David is held in the highest esteem and respect among his peers. He is unfailingly attentive, responsive, positive, and upbeat. David is always approachable and willing to help out in any way. No request is too big or too small. He is an outstanding employee!"
