Oceanside head coach Rusty Worcester stated: “Well all I can say tonight is we hit the ball very well, Erskine pitcher is no slouch she can bring it to the plate. We just squared it up and everyone was aggressive at the plate. She threw a lot of first pitch strikes and we jumped on it. Nine out of [11] players on the roster had multiple hits on the day. There were many highlights but Alexis Mazurek simply crushed a three run homer in the second inning. It was one of the longest homers I have seen. She has been tremendous at the plate all year and leading this team as the captain. Also Abby Veilleux makes us go at the top of the order she can hit and run with the best. We still need to work on defense we committed 4 errors on the day and that is too many.”
