Two signs with Camden photographs near the Camden Harbormaster's office at the landing  were recently updated and replaced by the Camden-Rockport Historical Society. Project coordinators, Society president Brenda Barrett and volunteer Augusta Stockman,  installed the signs. They depict historically significant local people, such as Edna St. Vincent Millay; local places, like the Camden Post Office; and ships built in Camden long ago. Drawing on her expertise, Stacy Warner of Warner Graphics donated the updating of the signs with U-V resistant materials. The signs enrich the visual experiences along the board walk of residents, tourists and seasonal visitors, and inform school children of Camden's history.
