Waldoboro Police beat: Assault, criminal mischief
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 181 calls for service from May 14-22. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
May 14
Officer Nathaniel Jack is investigating a report from a citizen about criminal mischief to his vehicle.
May 15
Timothy Pieper, 46, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Jack for terrorizing.
Heath Abbott, 38, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Jack for domestic violence assault.
May 17
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from a grocery store about a theft.
Fuller investigated an accident involving Brian Kniesner, 51, of Waldoboro, and Shelbea Wright, 25, of Waldoboro, on the Atlantic Highway, at 3:53 p.m. Both vehicles were traveling southbound. Wright was making a left turn.
May 18
Sgt. Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from a citizen about criminal mischief to a residence window.
May 19
Fuller is investigating a complaint of criminal mischief to a building.
May 21
Jack investigated an accident involving Ewa Prokopiuk, 57, of Jefferson, William Quinn, 75, of Mass. (no town listed) on the Atlantic Highway at 2:35 p.m. Prokopiuk was traveling southbound making a left turn. Quinn was travelling northbound following the roadway.
