BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Nov. 21-29. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Nov. 20

Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a vehicle accident on Albion Road in Unity where a 2011 Mazda had slid off the road and was reported to authorities by a towing company. The driver was uninjured and the vehicle sustained functional damage.

    Nov.  21

Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Loggin Road in Frankfort where an operator reportedly driving too fast for the prevailing road conditions lost control. The vehicle lost traction on the slushy road while entering a slight curve and spun 180 degrees to the left, exiting that side of the roadway. The 2005 Ford then slid down an embankment where it was flipped over when the wheels struck solid ground, rolling over before ultimately landing upright. The driver sustained non-incapacitating injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

    Nov. 24

Scott T. Russell, 39, of Winterport, was arrested for operating without license (in violation of conditions) and operating under the influence on Route 137 in Monroe.

Nicholas J. Salvatore, 18, of Morrill, was issued a summons for speeding 68 mph in a 45 mph zone on Poors Mill Road.

    Nov. 28

Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a deer v. vehicle accident on Route 1 in Stockton Springs. The driver was uninjured and the vehicle sustained functional damage.
