Richard E. Robbins, 50, of Deer Isle, was arrested for domestic violence criminal threatening and terrorizing on New England Road in Searsmont.

    Dec. 10

Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on North Horseback Road in Burnham, where the operator lost control of the vehicle due to wintery road conditions. The operator of a 1997 Chevrolet was headed north when the vehicle hit slush and was pulled off the road to the right. The vehicle rolled once before landing upright, sustaining functional damage. The operator sustained possible injuries to the arms, while a passenger was uninjured. Both were wearing seatbelts.

    Dec. 11

Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on North Palermo Road in Palermo, where an operator was pulled from the roadway by slushy conditions. The driver of a 2008 Ford reportedly told Wight that he was traveling south when a propane or oil truck approached in the opposite lane, with one wheel over the centerline. The driver said they moved over to the far right while staying in their lane, but the vehicle was pulled off the road by slush. The vehicle, which sustained functional damage, then struck trees. The operator reportedly admitted he was traveling too quickly for the conditions. They were uninjured in the crash.

The 2005 Suzuki crossed the centerline, leaving the roadway to the right and rolling over into a small pond. Both the driver and passenger were able to escape the vehicle, and both were transported to Waldo County General Hospital for treatment of hypothermia.
