BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Jan. 30 - Feb. 3. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Jan. 30

Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Main Road North in Frankfort where an operator lost control in snowy conditions. The driver of a 2017 Ford was reportedly driving too fast for the conditions and lost control of the vehicle, which slid sideways, crossing the center line and striking the front of an oncoming vehicle with the rear of their Ford. The driver (and lone occupant) of the Ford was also uninjured and the vehicle sustained disabling damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
