Waldo County Sheriff’s beat: accidents, terrorizing, criminal mischief, OUI

    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Nov. 11-26. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Nov. 11

    Lee T. Slagle, 42, of Knox, was arrested for domestic violence assault and criminal mischief Knox Station Road in Knox.

    Nov. 15

    Nelson Walker, 61, of Prospect, was issued a summons for violation of a protection order.

    Daniel R. Lombard, 29, of Troy, was arrested for operating under the influence on Rutland Road in Troy.

    Nov. 16

    Shawn Judkins, 19, of Unity, was arrested for manslaughter and operating under the influence stemming from a motor vehicle accident in August.

    Nov. 18

    Jenna E. Maddocks, 25, of Searsport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Cape Jellison Road in Stockton Springs.

    Nov. 19

    Jason R. Huff, 43, of Unity, was issued summonses for aggravated criminal mischief and terrorizing on Main Street in Unity.

    Nov. 20

    Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Waldo Station Road in Waldo where an operator reportedly drove too fast for the snowy conditions and lost control. The vehicle began skidding during a left-hand curve and exited the roadway to the right, where it sideswiped a utility pole before coming to rest at the bottom of an embankment. The driver suffered non-incapacitating injuries and the 2006 Volkswagen was towed due to disabling damage.

    Deputy Wight responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on North Searsport Road in Frankfort where a northbound vehicle reportedly drove too fast for the snowy conditions. The driver crested a slight hill to discover a school bus stopped in the opposite lane and attempted to stop, causing the vehicle to skid off the road where it struck a utility pole. The driver was uninjured in the crash and the 1997 Ford sustained functional damage.

    Nov. 21

    Jessica Tracy, 38, of Winterport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1A in Winterport.
