PORTLAND — Troopers continue to investigate a wreck that took place Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 20, along a stretch of the Maine Turnpike in Portland.

The driver of a tractor-trailer truck, 61-year-old Wayne Oxton of Unity, was not injured when the tractor portion of his truck was struck by a car at mile 50.

Police kept one lane open after the crash which was reported at 3:40 p.m., and it took another 90 minutes for normal northbound traffic flow to be restored.

Cloutier, who interviewed Bergeron, said the driver does not remember what happened. He has not been charged.
