THOMASTON — On Wednesday, March 27, several students at Thomaston Grammar School were recognized for the attribute of Responsibility.

The students honored with the Responsibility Award show their responsibility by being accountable to how they spend their time; by modeling exemplary manners and behaviors; by the respect they show for others; by their positive attitudes; and by the way in which they respond to challenges.

All of these students know that they are solely responsible to be sure that they themselves chart their own courses as members of the Thomaston Grammar School community.

Jude Risteen was also presented with the Principal’s Award.

Jude has a kind heart and a kind soul. He cares about his fellow Thomaston Grammar School community members. He is always willing to lend a helping hand to others who are in need, often without being asked to do so. He is responsible, respectful, empathetic, kind, honest, and so much more. He exemplifies what it means to be a good citizen, both in school and outside of school.

Recipients received a certificate at a school-wide assembly and will be invited to have lunch with the school principal later this month.

Congratulations to all the award recipients at TGS this month!
