PORT CLYDE — Despite an initial foggy start Saturday, July 21, the annual Marshall Point 5K race, as well as the youth fun run, was successfully held in Port Clyde as a kick off for St. George Day activities. 

Steve Cartwright claimed the overall championship with a time of 21:25. 

As part of the St. George Day activities, a corn hole tournament was held, for the first year, on Sunday, July 22 in the St. George School gym due to poor weather conditions. 

The St. George Parks and Rec committee would like to thank all the teams for participating, the St. George School for allowing use of the gym and Gary Minery Jr. for providing the corn hole boards and scoreboards for the tournament.
