Rockport Police beat: Registration, seatbelt violations
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Nov. 27-Dec. 8. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Nov. 27
Joshua Nichols, 35, of Worcester, Mass., was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for seatbelt violation.
Nov. 29
Joshua C. Anderson, 27, of Washington, was issued a summons by Taylor for operating an unregistered vehicle more than 150 days.
Dec. 1
Jushua Dorsey, 31, of St. George, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.
Adam F. Markowitz, 19, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Taylor for operating an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days.
Dec. 2
Brookelynn S. DuFour, 21, of Winthrop, was issued a summons by Officer Jacob Powers for speeding 72 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Dec. 3
Dustin Brooks, 31, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for operating after revocation.
Dec. 8
Danielle Demeritt, 33, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Taylor for operating after suspension and possession of a suspended license.
