Rockport Police beat: OUI, passing a stopped school bus

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Oct. 3-16. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Oct. 3

    Joyce T. Cohen, 73, of West Palm Beach, Fla., was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.

    Oct. 4

    Daniel G. Ouellet, 39, of Blaine, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for improper pass.

    Evelyn Taylor, 84, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for passing a stopped school bus with lights flashing.

    Oct. 9

    Nile Recchia, 42, of Camden, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.

    Hildy Ellis, 67, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Tony Del Vecchio for operating after suspension.

    Oct. 11

    Katherine Box, 36, of Belmont, was issued a summons by Taylor for speeding 36 mph in a 15 mph zone.

    Oct. 14

    Amanda Porch, 36, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Taylor for probation violation.

    Jessica Drinkwater, 31, of Thomaston, was charged by Taylor with operating under the influence and violating condition of release.

    Oct. 16

    Raymond Mortelliti, 67, of Holden, was issued a summons by Taylor for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.
