Rockport Police beat: OUI, assault, passing a stopped school bus

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Feb. 26-March 9. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Feb. 26

    Eli Kemberling, 26, of Camden, was charged by Officer Chris Taylor with operating under the influence, probation violation.

    Feb. 28

    Stephen L. Mills, 49, of Warren, was issued a summons by Taylor for expired registration more than 150 days.

    Carol Kuhn, 67, of Northport, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days.

    March 1

    Chad Coffin, 47, of Freeport, was charged by Taylor with assault.

    March 5

    Caleb J. Meklin, 24, of Warren, was arrested by Moore on warrant, operating after suspension.

    March 6

    Ludmila Sigaud, 19, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Taylor for passing a stopped school bus.

    March 7

    Joseph Levigne, 66, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Moore for failure to obey traffic control device.

    Michael Seeger, 35, of Union, was issued a summons by Moore for operating an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days.

    March 9

    Todd Christensen, 33, Camden, was issued a summons by Moore for inspection violation.

    Patricia Mitchell, 76, Rockland, was issued a summons by Moore for speeding 49 mph in a 30 zone.
