Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrants, speeding, theft

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity July 20-Aug. 2. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    July 20

    Dorothy Steele, 60, of New Hampton, Mass., was issued a summons by Officer Jim Moore for failure to stop at a stop sign.

    July 21

    Caitlin Boggs, 25, of Warren, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for speeding 45 mph hour in a 30 mph zone.

    Chad Delano, 44, of Rockland, was arrested by Moore for operating under the influence, violating conditions of release and operating after revocation.

    July 23

    Vanessa Mann, 30, of Saint George, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for speeding 49 mph in a 30 mph zone.

    Randi Randall, 26, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to stop at a stop sign.

    Wayne Corney, 50, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.

    July 28

    Cassandra Flaherty, 32, of Warren, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    July 30

    Zachary Carleton, 28, of Camden, was issued a summons by Ford for theft.

    Aug. 1

    Mildred Savage, 68, of Swanville, was issued a summons by Smith for insurance violation, failure to register motor vehicle.

    Jessica Furr, 24, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for insurance violation.

    Aug. 2

    Tanya Bober, 31, of Thomaston, was arrested by Ford on a warrant and issued a summons for operating after suspension.

    James Ellis, 25, of Thomaston, was arrested by Ford on a warrant.
