Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrants, OUI, child seatbelt violation

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity April 27-May 13. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    April 27

    Barbara Nelson, 62, of Warren, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore for inspection violation.

    April 28

    Charles White, 40, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for inspection violation.

    April 29

    Taylor D. Palmer, 22, of Northport, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for operating after suspension.

    Corey Conway, 40, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection and insurance violations.

    Jennifer Benson, 38, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Sam Butler for inspection violation.

    Dennis Smith, 76, of Thomaston, was charged by Butler with drinking alcohol and driving.

    May 3

    Renato Kriste, 40, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Taylor for child seatbelt violation.

    May 4

    Mark Tocco, 18, of Camden, was issued a summons by Moore for inspection and insurance violations.

    May 5

    Weston E. Arey, Jr., 69, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Taylor for expired registration, less than 150 days.

    May 6

    Michael J. Tassi, 26, of Hope, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.

    May 7

    Benjamin K. Welt, 23, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Ford for insurance violation, failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days.

    May 8

    Thomas Thomas, 43, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Ford for insurance violation.

    May 10

    Bowen Smith, 37, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection and insurance violations.

    May 11

    Laurent Morin, 57, of Warren, was charged by Moore with operating under the influence, inadequate tires, insurance violation.

    May 12

    Angelia M. Turner, 37, of Friendship, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.

    Jamie R. Johnson, 48, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Ford for insurance violation.

    Tyler J. Swett, 33, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 68 mph in a 45 mph zone.

    May 13

    Jessica Kelley, 28, of Searsport, was arrested by Moore on two warrants.
