Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrant, unregistered vehicles, speeding

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity May 7-23. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    May 7

    Owen T. McGlamery, 31, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for insurance violation.

    May 8

    Kelly Hinkley, 21, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.

    May 9

    Jack Kice, 30, of Boothbay, was issued a summons by Ford for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.

    May 10

    Anthony J. Richard, 36, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Tony Del Vecchio for following too closely.

    Sarco Kirklian, 66, of Camden, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore for operating an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days.

    Coree A. Phleps, 35, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Moore for operating without a license.

    Christopher Turner, 59, of Southport, was issued a summons by Moore for inspection violation.

    May 11

    Mary A. McLean, 60, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Del Vecchio for speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    Diana Glover, 66, of Camden, was issued a summons by Moore for operator not secured in a seat belt.

    Marjorie Davis, 30, of Washington, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for improper pass.

    May 18

    Reilly Moran, 20, of West Gardiner, was issued a summons by Moore for failure to register vehicle with 30-150 days.

    Richard Camber, 34, of Union, was issued a summons by Ford for failure to register motor vehicle within 30-150 days.

    May 19

    Casey L. Thomas, 22, of Washington, was arrested by Taylor on a warrant.

    May 20

    Michael A. York, 29, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Taylor for insurance violation.

    John Newburn, 75, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Taylor for inspection violation.

    May 21

    Veral B. Hines, 44, of Appleton, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 66 mph in a 45 mph zone.

    May 23

    Amy M. Sabaka, 50, of Camden, was issued a summons by Ford for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
