UNION — Krisandra McNichol, of Rockland  was crowned the 2017 Maine Wild Blueberry Queen at the Union Fair on Monday August 21.

Krisandra is a 2016 salutatorian graduate of Oceanside High School. She will attend Colby College in the Fall to study neurobiology and music and plans to continue on to medical school. Her interests are piano, percussionist, vocalist, exercising, rock climbing and traveling.

Krisandra's sponsor is Spruce Mountain Blueberries of West Rockport.

Krisandra will represent the Union Fair and the Maine Wild Blueberry Industry at events in Maine and New England throughout her one-year reign.
