Riverhawk girls basketball sweeps Lions

The Medomak girls seventh and eighth grade basketball teams were both able to secure victories against Troy Howard Monday, Jan. 8. 

For the eighth grade girls team, the victory kept their undefeated season alive and pushed their win total to seven.

7th Grade: Medomak 40, Troy Howard 19

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 11-6, 19-8 and 30-13. 

Nine of 12 Riverhawks netted points in the Monday contest, according to Medomak head coach Andrea Williamson, while Quinn Overlock, Skylah Ward, Addison McCormick and Chelsea Sykes provided “great defense.” Williamson noted the team executed “great ball movement and great passing” throughout the game.
