ROCKLAND - Rebecca 'Becky' J. Crudell, 52, died unexpectedly Friday, December 7, 2018, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Born in Rockland, April 16, 1966, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Sharon Taylor Earnest.

She worked for many local stores and businesses throughout the years and served as management for Mcdonald's for over twenty years. She was a very dedicated employee and took pride in her work.  She could be stern but had a wonderful sense of humor that kept people smiling.

In 1995 Becky married David Crudell. Not only were they husband and wife, they were also best friends. Together they worked for many years at fairs up and down the East coast, running a pizza and ice cream booth.

Becky was an extremely talented woman, and when she wasn't working, she kept busy as a seamstress, altering wedding dresses and knitting blankets. She was also an accomplished cake maker, making many beautiful and intricate specialty cakes. She loved baking with her mother and her children. She was well-known for her peanut butter balls that were always made in bulk for family and friends. Nothing was more important to her than her family. Her personal life motto was "family first" which she kept in all aspects of her life. She especially loved spending time with her grandson whom she dotted on whenever she had a chance. She also had a special place for her fur-babies, her cocker spaniels.

Predeceased by a brother Jonathan Earnest; Becky is survived by her husband David Crudell of Rockland; her daughters, Naomi Robinson and her husband Chris of Finley, Ohio, Natasha Cole and her husband Jared of Rockland, Alexandrea ‘Lexie’ Simmons and her husband Josh of Hope; her grandson Ridley Cole; her mother Sharon Earnest of Rockland; her father Kenneth Earnest of Millersville, Maryland; a sister Rachel Wagner of Delfont, Delaware;  a brother David Earnest of Waldoboro; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, a large loving extended family; and too many friends to count.
