THOMASTON - Priscilla Myers, 87, passed away peacefully early morning of November 30th. She was born in Trenton, Maine to Julia Knowlton of Camden.

Priscilla grew up in Camden and was a graduate of Camden High School class of 1949. Throughout her entire life she kept in touch with her fellow classmates and enjoyed taking part in her class reunion every year! One of her fondest memories was a class trip to Washington, D.C.

When she was 15, she worked at the town drugstore – at the time they were filming Peyton Place. She loved to tell about the experience. It was exciting for her!
Priscilla worked at Sylvania in Waldoboro and Tibbetts in Camden. After retiring, she spent her winters in Bonita Springs, Florida. Priscilla loved being at the beach swimming, sunbathing, and collecting many beautiful shells.

She was a member of the Ladies' Shrine Club for 30 years. She was an avid bowler and played on various leagues. She always said it wasn't unusual to get beaten by her 98 year old neighbor.

Her hobbies were reading, playing poker, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Priscilla was predeceased by her son, Robert Grafton, in 2009. She is survived by her husband Philip Myers Sr., a daughter Vicki Barrett and husband Bob, daughter Sheryl Sutherland & husband Randy, son David Verge and wife Sandy, and stepson Philip Myers Jr. and wife Raeberta. She leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2017 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, with a service of remembrance following at 3 p.m. The Reverend Andrew Stinson will officiate.
