Merryspring Nature Center hosts online talk with Nick Lund: Bird Sound and How to Remember Them

Event has passed

Nick Lund will lead an online presentation called, Bird Songs and How to Remember Them, on Tuesday, January 30, at 12 p.m., hosted by Merryspring Nature Center.

“Birdsong is the soundtrack of nature, and is also a birder’s most important tool for identification,” said Merryspring, in a news release. “If you can remember what you’re hearing, that is.”

Advocacy and Outreach Manager Nick Lund talks about all the different kinds of sounds birds make, and provides helpful tools to remember the vocalizations of some of Maine’s most common species.

This talk is part of Merryspring’s Online Winter Talk series, co-sponsored by Camden Riverhouse Hotel.

Online Talks are held as Zoom webinars.
