WALDOBORO — The Medomak Valley varsity baseball and softball games scheduled for Saturday, April 20 are being moved up one day, according to Medomak Valley athletic director Matt Lash. 

In a Thursday evening email, Lash noted the move is being made due to poor weather conditions being predicted for Saturday. 

Both varsity contests on the road against Poland will be played Friday, April 19 at 1 p.m. 

The Medomak Valley junior varsity diamond teams will play Poland at home at the same time as previously scheduled. 

The varsity contests will serve as season opening events for both Medomak Valley diamond teams.
