Medomak 7th baseball mercy-rules two games, mercy-ruled in one

The Medomak Middle seventh grade baseball team recently hit the field for a trio of games, each of them ending in mercy-ruled five inning fashion. 

Below are the scores and stats from each of the games as reported to our sports department. 

Medomak 19, Bristol 1 (5 innings)

In Waldoboro on May 13, Medomak collected a 19-1 mercy-rule victory over Bristol in five innings. 

At the plate for Medomak were Aaron Reed (two hits), Michael Sabins (two hits), Kory Donlin (hit), Kyle Smith (hit) and Gavin Castner (hit). 

Castner, Reed and Smith combined for a no-hitter on the mound. 

Nobleboro/Jefferson 14, Medomak 0 (5 innings)

In Waldoboro on May 15, Medomak was mercy-ruled in five innings by Nobleboro/Jefferson 14-0. 

Sam Moody (two hits), Smith (hit), Isaac Bickford (hit) and Connor Benner (hit) contributed to the Riverhawk offense. 

The offense for Nobleboro/Jefferson was paced by Tucker Stiles (two hits), Maxen Lucas (two hits), Garrett Howard (two hits), Jacob Campbell (hit) and Kaden Bartrug (hit). 

Medomak 20, Bristol 3 (5 innings) 

In Bristol on May 22, the Riverhawks topped Bristol 20-3 in another five inning mercy-rule contest. 

At the plate for Medomak were Smith (two hits), Castner (two hits), Benner (two hits), Moody (two hits), Reed (hit), Landon Tapley (hit), Bruce Bossow (hit) and Jay Jones (hit). 

Breck Holliday provided Bristol’s lone hit of the game, which game during the team’s first at-bat of the game.
