Mary Flanagan Juco, obituary

ROCKLAND — Mary Ann Flanagan Juco, 75, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Sussman House in Rockport. Born in Rockland, April 22, 1943, she was the daughter of James and Eileen Spinney Flanagan.

As a 1961 graduate of Rockland High School, she was involved in many activities. She attended Pierre’s Beauty School in Portland. She later received a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Kennebec Community College and practiced at Camden Hospital and Penobscot Bay Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ricardo Juco, Sr. of Rockland; son, Ricardo Juco, Jr. of Florida; grandsons Antonio Juco and his wife Becky Aron of Massachusetts and Ricardo Juco, III of Lewiston; granddaughter, Emily Grieson Juco of Colorado; great-granddaughters Samara and Gabrielle Juco; her brothers James Flanagan Jr. of Rockland and Timothy Flanagan and his wife Judy of Wiscasset; sisters Carolyn Flanagan of New Hampshire and Kathleen Martin and her husband Jeff of Bethel; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Other than her parents Mary was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel Flanagan and William Flanagan; and two sisters, Rose Flanagan Felt and Eileen Margaret Flanagan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 15, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 150 Broadway, Rockland. A reception will follow at Burpee, Carpenter and Hutchins Funeral Home’s, 104 Limerock, reception center.

There will be no calling hours.

Interment services will be in the spring.

Her family is appreciative of the comfort and care extended to her and her family by the hospice volunteers.
