Knox County Sheriff’s beat: Domestic violence terrorizing, arrest warrants, burglary

    The Knox County Sheriff's office received 365 calls for service from Jan. 24-Jan. 30. Those calls that are not listed below include agency assists, animal problems, bail and warrant checks, business and residential alarms, business and residential property checks, check-ins, citizen assists, civil disputes, crisis interventions, death investigations, nuisances complaints, court paper service, police information, suspicious persons and circumstances, traffic hazards, and traffic stops. An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

    Jan. 24

    Sgt. John Palmer conducted a traffic detail in Union. No violations were reported.

    Following an erratically operating vehicle complaint in Union, Deputy Scott Redmun made a traffic stop. Redmun summoned Jarett J. Schadlish, 36, of Waterville, for operating a motor vehicle without a license.

    Sgt. Patrick Polky conducted a traffic detail in Warren. No violations were reported

    Jan. 25

    Deputy John Hansen conducted a traffic detail in Saint George. No violations were reported

    Following a traffic stop in Union, Deputy Nathaniel Jack summoned Alton Reynolds, 53, of Waldoboro, for failing to display a valid inspection sticker.

    Following a traffic stop in Warren, Jack summoned David Atwood, 47, of Warren, for failing to display a valid inspection sticker.

    Following a vehicle crash in South Thomaston, Hansen summoned a Juvenile, 17, for carrying passengers beyond interim license restriction.

    Sgt. Lance Mitchell and Jack responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in Union. Disabling damage and no injuries were reported.

    Detectives Donald Murray, Dwight Burtis, and Hansen executed a search warrant in Friendship. The incident is under investigation.

    Deputy Arthur Smith responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in Cushing. Disabling damage and no injuries were reported.

    Following a bail check, Smith arrested Craig Beal, 56, of Warren, for violations of conditional release and possession of firearm by a prohibited person.

    Smith, Redmun, and Polky responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in Warren. Disabling damage and minor injuries were reported.

    Jan. 26

    Jack conducted a traffic detail in Washington. No violations were reported

    Hansen responded to a report of a theft in Warren. The incident is under investigation.

    Jack responded to a report of single vehicle crash in Union. The incident is under investigation.

    Polky conducted a traffic detail in So. Thomaston. No violations were reported.

    Jan. 27

    Following a traffic stop in Thomaston, Hansen summoned Limor Marine, 41, of Thomaston, for speeding.

    Following a traffic stop in Warren, Jack summoned Zachary Underhill, 38, of Warren, for failure to display valid inspection sticker.

    Following a traffic stop in Thomaston, Hansen summoned Christine Ross, 56, of St. George, for failure to produce evidence of insurance.

    Redmun responded to a report of a single vehicle crash with a deer in South Thomaston. Functional damage and no injuries were reported.

    Following a warrant check in Rockland, Redmun arrested George Lebourdais, 50, of Rockland, on one active arrest warrant.

    Jan. 28

    Deputy Paul Pinkham conducted a traffic detail in Union. No violations reported.

    Jack responded to a report of negotiating a worthless instrument in Union. The incident is under investigation.

    Pinkham responded to a report of a burglary in Owls Head. The incident is under investigation.

    Pinkham responded to a complaint of criminal mischief in Owls Head. Pinkham summoned William McMahan, 34, of Owls Head, for criminal mischief.

    Jack responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash in Warren. Disabling damage and minor injuries were reported.

    Sgt. Matthew Elwell responded to a report of a single vehicle crash with a deer in Appleton. Functional damage and no injuries reported.

    Redmun responded to a report of an assault in Rockland. Redmun arrested Wyatt Chapdelaine, 20, of Rockland, for assault and violation of conditional release.

    Following a warrant check in Union, Deputy Jeremy Joslyn arrested Edward Zona, 34, of Union, on one active warrant.

    Jan. 29

    Deputy Justin Hills conducted a traffic detail on North Haven. No violations reported.

    Hills responded to a report of a single vehicle crash with a deer. Functional damage and no injuries were reported.

    Following a bail check in Union, Joslyn summoned Denise Massicotte, 51, of Union, for violation of conditional release.

    Jan. 30

    Pinkham responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in Friendship. Disabling damage and no injuries were reported. Pinkham summoned Cameron Gnosini-Rubenstein, 19, of Rockland, for illegal possession of liquor by a minor.

    Smith responded to a report of a theft in Washington. The incident in under investigation.

    Following a bail check in Warren, Smith summoned Cody Billings, 22, of Warren, for violations of conditional release.

    Hills conducted a traffic detail on North Haven. No violations reported.

    Pinkham and Mitchell responded to a report of a three-vehicle crash in Warren. Disabling damage and minor injuries were reported.

    Pinkham, Smith and Mitchell responded to a report of a domestic assault in South Thomaston. Pinkham arrested Corey Rytky, 35, of South Thomaston, for domestic violence assault, domestic violence terrorizing, and obstructing the report of a crime.

    Following a traffic stop in Hope, Joslyn summoned Bradley Wellman, 43, of Hope, for failure to stop at stop sign.

    Following a traffic stop in Owls Head, Redmun summoned Amy Atwood, 45, of Owls Head, for speeding.

    Following a traffic stop in Hope, Joslyn summoned Hunter Galipeau, 19, of Warren, for failure to stop at stop sign and failure to display valid inspection sticker.

    Joslyn responded to a report of a single vehicle crash with a deer. Functional damage and no injuries reported.
