Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Dec. 18-28.

    Destiny Bailey, 20, of Rockland, domestic violence assault, 364 days in prison, all suspended, probation one year; violating condition of release, unconditional discharge.

    Brooks Sawyer Bumbalo, 21, of Rockport, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    Dennis E. Camber, 53, of South Thomaston, operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, dismissed.

    Alyssa D. Carey, 26, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked-operating under the influence, seven days in jail, license suspended one year.

    Paige A. Cyr, 33, of Waldoboro, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine.

    Karl S. Crute Jr., 44, of Cushing, eluding an officer, nine months in jail; illegal possession of a firearm, nine months in jail; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, refusing to stop, three months in jail; operating under the influence (drugs or combination), $500 fine, two days in jail, license suspended 150 days; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine; violating condition of release, two counts, 30 days in jail; unlawful furnishing of scheduled drug, $400 fine, four years in jail with all but six months suspended, probation two years. On Aug. 30, a Knox County Sheriff deputy observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed, 87 mph, in Cushing. The driver, later identified as Crute, did not stop for police, according to the affidavit filed in court. Crute’s car then went off the side of the road, striking a culvert and a row of lobster traps in a front yard. Police found Crute’s abandoned truck in the woods. Police went to Crute’s house and found firearms and alcohol, which were violations of his conditions of release. Police charged Crute with eluding an officer, illegal possession of a firearm, refusing to stop and submit to arrest or detention and one count of violating condition of release.

    Laura D. Davis, 20, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine.

    Danielle Demeritt, 32, of Waldoboro, probation violation, original conviction for unlawful possession of scheduled drug, probation continued, no sentence imposed.

    Michael Easter, 32, of Bath, domestic violence reckless conduct, 48 hours in jail, probation partially revoked.

    James R. Ellis, 27, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine.

    Karen M. Fulton, 40, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol), $575 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Carl Wayne Heath, 36, of Warren, assault on an officer, two counts, dismissed.

    Randall Lee II, 20, of Belfast, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.

    Joseph A. Littlefield, 20, of Belfast, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.

    Fiston Mubalama Lowatiwaya, 22, of Auburn, burglary, dismissed; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed.

    Janet V. O’Brien, 55, of Owls Head, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Bennett G. Perry, 23, of Lincolnville, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.

    Ayn Pivonka, 29, of Rockport, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Christopher C. Roberts, 30, of Vinalhaven, operating vehicle without license, $250 fine.

    Samantha Schrader, 22, of Topsham, probation violation for original conviction for domestic violence assault, 34 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

    Jason Stager, 29, of Camden, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine; 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    William C. Wheeler II, 36, of Madison, possession of hypodermic apparatuses, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 364 days in jail with all but 120 days suspended, probation one year; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed.

    Mackenzie C.J. Whitehill, 21, of Waldoboro, operating while license suspended or revoked, $1,000 fine.

    John Wight, 50, of Hope, disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, $250 fine; criminal trespass, dismissed; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, dismissed.

    Troy J. Woodman, 35, of Warren, operating under the influence (alcohol), dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed; violating condition of release, dismissed; theft by receiving stolen property, priors, dismissed; violating condition of release, dismissed; unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $400 fine, suspended $400; five years in jail with all but three months suspended, probation three years, restitution $1050.
