CAMDEN —Judith Ann McKeever, age 70, passed away peacefully beside her husband, at her second home on Damariscotta Lake in Nobleboro, on July 31, 2017.

She shall be remembered for starting Heartline at the Camden YMCA, which aided people with heart conditions seeking a healthy exercise regimen. In 1978, she also cofounded the Newcomers Club, which welcomed new people who had moved to the midcoast area. She was a longtime exercise instructor, diving coach and an avid tennis player. For over 30 years, she was a notable, talented interior designer, often decorating the homes of some of Maine's most prominent individuals and celebrities.

But she will be most remembered for being a loving mother of two children, Eugene D. 'Mac' McKeever, III and his wife Jill of Portland, Crystal L. McKeever of Appleton and her grandson, Jonathan Eugene Delbert McKeever, IV, but most of all, her husband Gene. Judy is also missed by her brother, Dr. Robert W, Beebe and his wife Annette of Portland; her sisters Debbie Hobak and her husband Dr. James Hobak of Chattanooga, TN, Jeanne A. 'Crickett' Beebe – Byrd of Minneapolis, MN, as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her, dearly.
