ROCKLAND — Good Tern Co-op's "Round It Up!" program realizes perennial supporting numerous organizations in the area.

For the past few years, Good Tern Co-op has been running a highly successful "Round It Up!" program, where a different (mostly local) organization is chosen each month to receive support. Customers at the registers can round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, or even give a little more, and the extra pennies go to the organization of the month. Since inception of the program, they have raised nearly $20,000 for charitable causes that their customers believe in.

"The total amount of money raised from small amounts of change is amazing. It is a good reminder of how much of an impact can be made when a group of people organize together around a cause. We are so appreciative of the generosity of the Good Tern Co-op customers" said Becca Gildred, Development Director of KCHC.

"We were delighted to have Knox County Homeless Coalition as a recipient again this year, and to feature The Landing Place program on our poster. We're happy it was a successful month!" said Selkie O'Mira of Good Tern Co-op as she was relaying the news to the Coalition.
