Game warden locates missing Lincolnville man

    LINCOLNVILLE — Game Warden Corporal Dave Chabot and his K9 Ruby located a Lincolnville man at approximately 4 p.m. after the man became separated from his home caretaker during a walk in the woods near Route 52 in Lincolnville.

    Maine Game Wardens, Warden Service K9 units and a Maine Warden Service aircraft responded to the search area shortly after noon, according to a news release from the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.

    Shortly after 4 p.m., Corporal Dave Chabot and his K9 located the man about two miles into the woods near a power line.

    The man was dehydrated but otherwise in good health.

    A Game Warden and State Trooper detective used ATVs to get to the scene and transport the man back to his residence.
