Five area baseball players to represent Midcoast in all-star games

The Oceanside, Camden Hills, Belfast and Searsport baseball teams will be sending players to participate in four all-star baseball contests to be held throughout the remainder of this month. 

The games will hosted by the Maine Baseball Coaches Association. The organization is hosting three all-star games in Maine — the Class A/B and Class C/D senior all-star games featuring players from the graduating class of 2017 and an all-star game that will feature players from the classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020. The organization will also be sending players to the annual Maine versus New Hampshire contest in Nashua, New Hampshire where seniors from both states will meet on the diamond Sunday, June 25. 

The senior all-star games will be held Friday, June 23 at Colby College in Waterville while the other all-star game will be held Thursday, June 22 at St. Joseph’s College in Standish.

Participating from the Midcoast in the Maine versus New Hampshire showdown will be Garrison Looke of Camden Hills and Barrett Grant of Searsport. 

Participating from the Midcoast in the senior all-star game will be Mitchell Philbrick of Searsport who will play on the Class C/D North team while Looke will play as a member of the Class A/B North squad. 

Participating from the Midcoast in the 2018, 2019 and 2020 all-star game will be Grey Dinsmore of Belfast and Titus Kaewthong of Oceanside. Both players are apart of the 2018 graduating class.
