February happenings at Appleton Library

    APPLETON — Technical assistance, stitching groups, music, lectures, and stories come to Appleton Library in February.

    Thursday evenings, February 7, 14, 21 and 28  6 – 8 p.m.: Tech Assist. Every Thursday evening, staff will be available to help with basic computer questions, and can help troubleshoot Microsoft and Google Docs issues.

    Tuesday, February 19, 3 – 4 p.m.:  Fiber Arts Tuesday. Itching to complete that fiber arts project by the holidays? Come and stitch with a group on the third Tuesday of every month.

    Thursday, February 21, 6:30 - 8 p.m.:  Third Thursday: Live Music Night. Hear local musicians Baron Collins-Hill (mandolin and guitar) and Emma Swartz (violin) of Belfast and Kevin Callahan (guitar) and Raelin Callahan (violin) of Appleton.

    Saturday, February 23, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.: State Rep. Pluecker will meet and listen to his constituents.

    Wednesday, February 27, 6 - 7 p.m.: John Sommo will talk about his bike touring adventures, highlighting Spain’s Camino. If you missed John’s talk at LL Bean this past summer, you have a second chance before he departs on his next biking adventure. 

    Weekly Children Activities: Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.: StoryTime for children of any age.
